CH Coakley Acquires StorX, Inc. and Telestar

Move positions the company with additional single-source solutions for clients

MILWAUKEE, (July 13, 2016) – CH Coakley, a premier business solutions provider of third party logistics (3PL), commercial moving, warehousing, order fulfillment and document management, announces the recent acquisition of two Wisconsin companies: StorX, Inc., a New Berlin-based warehousing and trucking group, and Telestar, a Waterford company that provides installation, expansion and support for the top telecommunication firms.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for both our staff, who will benefit from the opportunities these companies will present, and clients who will now enjoy expanded single-source solutions to our current service offerings,” said Mike Coakley, president, CH Coakley. “Our focus this year has been to present our clients cohesive solutions for their business needs, and the addition of StorX and Telestar certainly helps with that objective.”

StorX, Inc. is a family run packaging and assembly warehousing service, that owners Mike and Brenda Landwehr began in 2004. The deal includes the groups’ entire portfolio: clients, staff and equipment. Coakley stated both Mike and Brenda will stay on “joining the Coakley family.”

Telestar owner, Sean Marshall, brings 20 years of telecommunications engineering and installation experience, and fills a void the CH Coakley Logistics division had been experiencing. “Sean’s knowledge and talent will enable us to not only continue offering warehousing to our telecommunications clients, but we’re now able to bring installation and maintenance services to the table as well. This is a perfect example of the single-source solutions we plan to extend to our clients throughout all of our division,” said Coakley.

The transition for both companies is expected to be completed by Aug. 1, 2016.
