At Coakley/Mayflower, we understand that your goal is to ensure that your relocation flows smoothly. For that to happen, you'll need to have all your questions answered. To give you a head start, we've included some of the most commonly asked questions below.

Who are the people that will actually be conducting my move?

At Coakley/Mayflower, we fully understand that our employees are our most valuable asset and are critical to the success of your move. Thus, we are extremely selective about the personnel we hire. Our total compensation package, including such things as vacation pay, 401(k) program, overtime compensation, etc. are in place for one reason — to attract and retain the BEST employees. It's only with these key people that we are able to provide you with the highest level of service that you deserve. Plus...

• Our Substance Abuse Policy and testing procedures for every employee exceed DOT standards.

• Coakley/Mayflower runs a formal background check (GSA Form 176) on all employees and files employee fingerprints.

• Our personnel are screened by the United States Federal Government and the Federal Protective Service Agency.

• Our personnel are authorized to move the DEA, SSA (Secret Service), FBI, US District Courts, Department of the Treasury, IRS, US Marshal's Office, USAF, US Navy, US Marines and Reserves.

How do you keep fragile computer equipment safe during the move?

Coakley/Mayflower takes protecting your assets very seriously. For anything we move, we have a wide variety of protection measures in place. However, for extremely fragile and important equipment such as computers and related electronics, we utilize special Coakley Computer Carts. These three shelved carts allow for the safe relocation of even your most sensitive electronics. Each shelf has an anti-static Styrofoam pad to reduce shifting and vibration. Once packed, our crew carefully secures your items with anti-static stretch wrap, thus increasing the security of your electronics.

How do you minimize our company's downtime?

In today's fast paced workplace, up-to-date technology is crucial to the success of your relocation. At Coakley/Mayflower, our technology is unrivaled and designed to save you time and money through the entire relocation process. Below are just a few examples of the tools we utilize throughout the process:

• IPAQ handheld move calculator
This next generation hand held computer and custom relocation software will allow your relocation specialist to accurately inventory and calculate your relocation as it happens.

• Coakley/Mayflower's exclusive Relocation Organization Software
This invaluable software helps us and you understand and keep track of every detail of your unique relocation, including your Move Inventory, Move logistics, Installation logistics, Estimate, Pricing, Move Check List, Contacts, Work Orders, and more!

• PowerPoint Presentation
To acquaint your employees with how they can prepare for the move and what will be happening on the actual day of the move, your relocation specialist will schedule a PowerPoint presentation for you and your staff. The presentation educates employees on packing, labeling, and other useful information for your specific relocation.

• Coakley/Mayflower's Relocation Packet
This is the ultimate relocation tool. We developed a master relocation planner to assist you in the transfer of important information to all your personnel. Once completed, this information can be emailed to us. We then create a relocation packet for your entire staff. Each packet contains labels, computer bags to help organize and protect your computer accessories for the move, relocation bags for incidentals, a move memo, and an office identification place card.

Moving successfully and seamlessly is important, but so is our budget. How do you accommodate tight budgets?

At Coakley/Mayflower, we understand that each client is going to have different needs. Thus, we provide different types of relocation services. Simply choose the service that best fits your unique needs.
